Terms of Use

Last updated: August 13, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of SIGNPAD (https://pdf-4kz8r6bwy-lane876s-projects.vercel.app) and related services (the "Service"). Please read them carefully. By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

The Service

SIGNPAD lets you upload, edit, annotate, sign, and export PDF documents in your browser. Edit, annotate, and sign PDF documents in your browser. Completely free. No ads, forever.

No fees

SIGNPAD is free to use. We do not charge subscription fees, usage fees, or any other payments for access to the Service. You are never billed for using SIGNPAD.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Accounts

Some features require signing in through a supported authentication provider. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for maintaining the security of your sign-in credentials. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Your content

You retain ownership of PDFs, signatures, annotations, and other material you submit to or create with the Service ("User Content"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and store User Content only as needed to operate the Service—for example, storing an uploaded signature image for a signed-in user.

You are solely responsible for User Content and for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable law and third-party rights.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purposes;
  • upload malware or attempt to disrupt or probe the Service;
  • access another user's data without authorization;
  • reverse engineer or scrape the Service except where permitted by law;
  • use the Service to send unsolicited communications or spam.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Service or other users.

No professional advice

The Service is a general productivity tool. It does not provide legal, tax, financial, or other professional advice. You are responsible for verifying that documents you sign or share meet your legal and business requirements.

Disclaimer of warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, OR THAT EXPORTED PDFS WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS.

Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SIGNPAD AND ITS OPERATORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Because the Service is provided at no charge, our total aggregate liability to you for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Service is zero U.S. dollars (USD $0), except where applicable law does not allow such a limitation. This cap limits damages you may seek from us—it is not a fee you owe us.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SIGNPAD and its operators from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.

Changes

We may modify the Service or these Terms at any time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate the Service or your access with or without notice. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of Delaware, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where mandatory local law requires otherwise.
